The origins of PurpleLane

PurpleLane is started in a small town called Salur, in Andhra Pradesh, where people depend on transportation and related services as their main source of income. The town's youth, upon completing their studies, used to rely on transportation and related jobs like lorry drivers, cleaners, and welders due to limited opportunities.

Many graduates spent years attempting competitive exams without success and are now unsure how to restart their careers. PurpleLane was started to help all such students who are passionate to enter into software industry but unsure about the right skills required.

Our vision is to help every student succeed in their life. We chose education as a path to achieve our vision because we strongly believe that education is one of the most important factors which can improve one's standards of living, both financial status and social status.

We are on a mission to build India's largest career-building platform where students can learn the right skills and get hired worldwide.

Professor N. Viswanadham is currently INSA Senior Scientist at the Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science. He is a Fellow of Third World Academy of Sciences, Indian National Science Academy, Indian Academy of Sciences, Indian National Academy of Engineering, and IEEE. He holds B.E, M.E and PhD from Indian Institute of Science.
